Goose plane taking off from Slate Lake leaving us
for our first night of our adventure
|
As
we unloaded our gear from the two Grumman Goose Aircraft the first thing
we noticed was the Beauty all around us. Adrenaline was high with anticipation
of the paintings that would come out of this place. The mosquitoes were
thick and the thought of Grizzly Bear was on our minds. High mountain
peaks and large elk racks were strewn on the ground where they had been
left by the animals. Beaver could be heard slapping the water, signaling
to us of their displeasure for having to share this little piece of Heaven.
