This trip was the brain child of art ( lover/collector) Mike Larson. Mike lives and works as a teacher and has small businesses in Dillingham Alaska. He made all of the arrangements for the trip and flew the group from Salt Lake to Dillingham and then out into the wilderness where they all floated remote rivers for seven days on rented "Alaskan Adventures Rafts". This Alaskan adventure was one that each of these artists will remember for a lifetime. After landing on Slate Lake the trip was in full swing. Slate Lake, as it turned out, had not been visited by any other human in over 20 years.
